What is Terastallization?

Terastallization is a new battle mechanic that allows Pokemon to change their type during battle, gaining STAB bonus for moves of their Tera type. Each Pokemon has a unique Tera type that can be different from their base types.

What are Paradox Pokemon?

Paradox Pokemon are ancient or future forms of existing Pokemon, with unique types, abilities, and stats. They are exclusive to either Pokemon Scarlet (ancient forms) or Pokemon Violet (future forms).

How does the Paldea region differ?

Paldea is the first truly open-world Pokemon region, allowing players to explore in any direction. It features three main story paths, new regional Pokemon, and the unique Terastallization mechanic.
